found out these are baby pokeweed !!

I fight that stuff all the time, I pull them as soon as they sprout. It will make a very large root, that is difficult to remove.

looks like beginning pokeberry. I love them - Mine grow 6 feet high and have beautiful berries that you can dye with - also great for birds. They're very pretty plants and very hardy.

When they are very young, in early spring, the leaves are edible. Just blanch them. But careful: once any part of the plant begins to turn red, all parts of the plant are poisonous.

Personally I find it weedy, it volunteers just a little too enthusiastically. And as for those berries -- remember that a "dye", in the wrong little hands is a "stain".

Thank you it finally did grow tall and did get berries but I finally got it down and out of the way. Thanks for your help guys gotta love this GW.
