Smooth crabgrass in Bahia grass

I need suggestions on how to remove smooth crabgrass from a residential lawn of Bahia grass.I know of no herbicide on the market that can do this without killing the Bahia. I've tried baking soda but it only slowed it down. I used Ronstar to prevent the germination of new seedlings but I have large areas that are solid mats of foliage that are expanding and choking out the Bahia. Any ideas?

Timing of your pre-emergent is critical, especially since this is the only chemical means that you will be able to use.

Mow high to prevent the crabgrass from seeding, and mow frequently to prevent seed heads from forming.

You may need to spray out the worst of the areas and reestablish the bahia anew.
