First be sure what you have is Creeping Charlie, "Glechoma hederacea", and then take a good look at the growing conditions. While this plant does much prefer shady, moist growing conditions it will do quite well in full sun and dry soils.
What does a good reliable soil test say about the soil pH and nutrient balance?
Some may tell you to spray with Borax, but as the article linked will tell you there is mixed results in control and Boron, an essential micro nutrient, can also poison other, more desirable plants in quite small amounts, Enough Borax to kill off Creeping Charlie can poison the soil for other plants for quite some time.
