Help with Chamberbitter

I have an infestation of Chamberbitter (aka cannonball weed) and I'm losing. Every year it spreads more. I've been treating with Image, and that does cause the standing plants to die off. But then a new stand pops up - apparently from seed. Should I use a pre-emergent? Which ones are good? And is Image the right treatment?

No words of advice. This obnoxious weed took over 5 or 6 flower beds last year. I dread seeing it this year. I never could get rid of it.

Hi,
I am suffering from kidney stones. A tea brewed from the dried chamberbitter plant is reported to cure and prevent
the agony of kidney stones. I am hoping someone would be
so kind as to send me some seeds of this plant. Ideally, I'd also like some dried plant material to get started on
my treatment. If anyone has access to this plant, please do
contact me. I would be very grateful for some help.
