Rose sprayed with weed killer?

My lovely son came to spray the grass and accidentally sprayed a small shrub rose. I noticed it within minutes. I dug up the bush and rinsed it off with clean water. Right now it's in a bucket in cold water with a little bit of transplanter added. Tomorrow I will plant it in another part of the garden. This kind of thing hasn't happened before. Did I do enough to save the plant?

That depends on the poison used and whether you rinsed all of it off the rose. Only time will tell if you were successful.
I cannot think of any better reason to not spray plant poisons around than this.
