Weed ID Needed Please

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I started working in my backyard removing weeds, preparing new flower beds and all the springtime "fun" stuff when I noticed a bunch of these little guys growing around. I potted one to get a closer look and was wondering if anyone has any idea what it may be. It's got pretty purplish tubular flowers but I think it's a weed. Thank you.

Lamium amplexicaule or henbit. It is considered a weed and reproduces by seed. If you do not want more of it, make sure you keep it from going to seed. (looks kinda cool in that pot, though)

I don't want it to go to seed in my garden. I had found the little pot on the shore so I decided to stick this weed in it and take a picture for this forum. I think I'll keep it indoors and enjoy the little flowers for now, as for the rest I'll pluck them out from the garden.
