Right now, mechanical action is required -- manually remove it/them.

If you use a weedkiller,those flowers will still have time to develop seed if the plants are left in place.

If you have lots, I suggest you have a party - Invite friends, promise them beer & pizza, and they will come.

I think it is Shepherd's Purse (Capsella species), with the heart-shaped seeds. In any case, mechanically eliminating the flowers will eliminate the need for chemicals. Like Jean said, killing it with chemicals means the seeds will mature. Since this is a spring annual, pulling the plant eliminates it forever. Once you start mowing, the plant will disappear.

Well, after doing some weeding and a careful inspection of the lawn, there is A LOT. Of this stuff coming in (no flowering yet).
Is there anything that I can use to kill then off before flowering ?

It's taking over the lawn!
