So I just cut this thing out of one of my flowerbeds. I can't dig a root up right now without completly demolishing a very mature hosta. I will most likely keep cutting it down until this fall once my hosta foliage dies back (I need to divide up this plant, anyways).

Anyone know what it is? Almost reminded me a rhubarb, but it's definitely not... I think. Haha.
