I have a little sun and lots of shade. Planted dichondra seed for back yard and between broken stones on patio and it is fabulous. Stays green even under snow in N.C. and never needs mowing unless you want a very formal look. Took lots of watering to get started, now thrives with total neglect. Gorgeous green color. Google dichondra seed. I think I bought ours from Park Seed.

My house has a vacant space in the front yard as garden with plants on the ground and in pots, it's nice and fresh to look at but I want to extend my receiving room because it's just small for us...what design should suits that will not affect my healthy growing plants and that the outcome of the extension will just be the same as garden...
