Unknown Weed in my pasture

Can anyone help me identify this weed??
I would also appreciate it if anyone could tell me if it is dangerous for horses, as these plants recently started cropping up everywhere on my property and i have 3 horses, one of which is a foal. Any response that is helpful is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You might compare it to Conyza canadensis, horseweed or mare's tail (no pun intended!).

If it is horseweed it contains turpene which is very irritating to the horses' nostrils.
