Aren't those little goldfinches sweet? I love to listen to them sing. It took me about 3 years to finally get one to come to my thistle sock and this summer he has a mate with him. I hope that the pair will have a big family and bring them all to eat! One day there were 2 pairs but they didn't want to share so now I only see one pair at a time. I have put out a very shallow bird bath just for their little bodies and they love it.I guess that they are too timid to use the larger birdbath.

My goldfinches came in early May, stayed right past the two big storms we had in the Northeast..The feeder was swaying back and forth like a pendulum about 180 degrees and the birds hung on to the feeder eating like they were on an amusement ride....This went on for hours...It was fun to watch...Maybe they were having fun too?..Steph

I do love my new friends! I kept watching the feeder today and saw it packed a few times...one chickadee was sitting on top waiting his turn. So cute.

I've never seen birds swinging on a feeder. How hilarious! You should have taped it! Might have won you some $ on AFV. They must have been hungry.
