Grasses can be difficult to identify. Let it grow a little, dig up a clump, and take it to your local cooperative extension office for ID and control recommendations.

Without a doubt that would be crabgrass. Even if you spray those plants new ones are germinating as I type. Did you use a pre-emergent this year?

I'm thinking quackgrass. We thought we had crabgrass for 2 or 3 years only to learn of Quackgrass, thanks to our next door neighbors lawn. Pull out a hunk by the root and see if it matches up with the description in the link below.
