I also posted this on the Kitchen Table but think I should have probably posted here.

This is our first year in this home. We are having a big problem with a weed spreading like crazy in our veggie garden and flower beds. It is also coming in the lawn and along the sidewalks. People in other parts of the city have it as well, and we have not found anyone who knows what it is or how to control it. We have tried pulling and diging but it appears that it has many little roots that multiply quickly. We think we have it all dug and in a few days there is more than ever. We also have a dog who has very sensitive skin so we can't use anything like

" Round Up" Any help sure would be appreciated.
