Broad leaf herbacide

This might sound pretty dumb, but how long does it take to spray Ortho's Weed Be Gon - broad leaf herbacide -for 4,000 sq ft? My neighbors had a fence put in and the guy scraped 2,000 sq feet of my top soil to fill in their fence line.

So, I re planted and put in plugs but now I have spotted spurge taking over everything. I was just out there spraying and in over 3 hours I never did empty the sprayer like it says. It's a hose attachment and I used 7 oz for about 3/4 of an acre.
