Sure looks like it to me. Maybe you're just one of the lucky non-sensitive ones. Careful, though, cause that can change over time, I believe.

Without looking at the stem another possibility is a box elder tree. They will put out leaves like these from a single stem.

Is that a vine?
Are the leaves glossy in appearance?
While you may be one of the few that are immune, for now, from the affects of the Urushiol getting the oil on your clothing can be enough to spread the problems to other family memebers so due care is needed until you do positively identify it. If this plant does not vine, it isn't.

Poison Ivy is not always glossy, nor does it always vine.
I think this is PI, because the two lower leaves have a 'mitten' shape while the top one doesn't. That is common in PI.

I am one of those poor souls who is extremely sensitive to PI.

Turn the leaflets over. If you see some whitish, webby stuff along the veins, then it's Box Elder. But it sure looks like PI to me, as well.

I'm one of those who started out being completely non-sensitive to this plant. That status literally changed over night.

There was a boxelder tree in the backyard, but it doesn't look quite the same. I'll compare this plant with the bits growing out from the stump.
ok, I've just compared web pics of poison ivy and boxelder - apparently they look alike to a lot of people.
I think it might be boxelder.
hmmm. But my husband has gotten PI doing yard work. I'll keep my eyes open. Could be I'm not immune after all!

Doesn't look like poison ivy to me--just looks wrong. I'd go along with a seedling box elder if they are in your area, or could be something else.

Another clue to the identification is that the bottom pair of leaves on the PI have very short stems (petiolules) while the BE stems are longer.

One thing for certain: PI can be extremely variable. When I lived in the 'Nawth', the foliage was almost always glossy. In many other locations, it's not at all.

It is difficult to see in your photo, but it could be either Poison Ivy or Box Elder, or several other plants. In what position are the leaves on the stem? On Poison Ivy, the leaf clusters are alternate, and on Box Elder, they are opposite each other. That is the easiest way I know, of telling the difference. :>)
