What is this thorny weed please

Can anyone id this weed? It's got thorns just like rose bushes and it grows wild in my back garden . I'm having a hard time getting rid of it.
i cut it back on a regular basis, but come back pretty quick..What can i use to get rid of it..
i have some pics so hope someone can help me. Thankyou
