Haaa too funny! I fed them peanuts when I lived in Colorado. I kept the bag up near the window on an antique drum table, one day I realized that my dog had pushed out the bottom corner of my screen with his noze, I shoved it back but had not done the actual repair, that day I witnessed the little buggar pull up the loose screen and come into the house and try to take the whole bag off the table and out the window. Peanuts everywhere. He tried to retrieve them all and take them out the window but I was laughing so hard he ran off scolding and cussing at me. I had no choice but to put a bunch on the windowsill (outside) just to reward his efforts. Ya gotta love em!

You have to give squirrels their due...for all the aggravation they cause with people wanting to keep them out of their feeders, they are incredibly intelligent and dogged at getting what they want!
I have to say though, that my favorites are the chubby old fox squirrels. They are just so much more laid back than the greys, seeming to have a ho-hum take on things. No fox squirrels doing any Geico commercials!!
