This can be found written in red and highlighted in blue (click on the blue to get into the policies)between the forum and the messeage posts. The Hypertufa forum is located under garden forums and click on hypertufa and look for a message that reads something to the effect of photo policies.

Go back one page to your Wisconsin forum page. Look at the top and click on the Terms of Service and Privacy policy.

Some people are leaving because of the changes, but really, little has changed from before. It's just more in depth and uses inflammatory words like "profit". I am staying, but I won't post any high resolution photos that I want to keep as my own. From the 24th on, just don't put anything on GW that you don't want possibily used elsewhere without your knowledge. Low resolution photos are useless for reproduction. Since the new policies do not pertain to anything posted before the 24th,the whole thing is not a big deal in my opinion.

It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. I know a couple of people in the houseplant forum seem to have disappeared. I sure loved looking at some peoples pictures and home page. I hope links to cool places will still be posted and knowledgeable people will stick around.

I hope the new policies don't scare many people off also. I'll probably continue to post pics anyway; as leftwood said, being a lower resolution they aren't worth much for publishing. It's too bad things had to change, but I've met so many wonderful people on the forums that I'll take a chance. ;-) Karen
