Morning Glory in bloom!

Hey there fellow Wisconsinites! I just had to share my news with others who are probably as tired of the snow as I am. I brought in a Lantana for the winter, and a Morning Glory started growing in the pot. Well, for grins, I put in a small stake and started winding it up and down. When I opened my curtains this morning, I had a beautiful Morning Glory in bloom! Now that's a great way to start a snowy winter's day!

That's really great! Are you going to put a bigger stake in the pot for it to grow on? How's the lantana doing? Boy, for it to bloom on a day like this (bad snowstorm) is really a nice surprise.

Oh, that's so nice!!

I have a few forced daffodil bulbs in bloom right now, their sunny little faces make me so happy!

It wasn't a fluke! I had another bloom on the Morning Glory today. With a high temp of -4 degrees, without counting in the wind chill, it was such a welcome sight. The lantana is doing very well, and another one that I brought in just started to take off. It seems that at this time of year the plants that I'm over-wintering in the house either start to die or start growing well again.
