Anyone in SE WI have European Larch (not the weeping one)? I'm really paranoid that mine's dead. It went brown & dropped needles really early last fall (we had a late summer drought). Also, last year was the first full season of having a paved driveway vs. gravel. That driveway covers maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the tree's root zone. What do you think? Is it still too early or is it dead? I can't remember when it typically breaks bud. Can it really kick the bucket that fast? I don't see any bud coloration at all.
