Try to stay warm..... and green....

LOL Dave! I don't think that will work. I heard they had snow in Wausau. I have off this coming week and rain is in the forecast every day! :(( I won't be able to get in any planting. I can't remember a time before when there was rain every day when I took my vacation for planting. On top of that, it's going to be cold most of the week too. I still haven't been out to any garden centers yet. I feel sorry for them with all this crappy weather. Well at least my perennials are doing well.

I am so sick of being cold! We had to turn the heat back on :(

And worst of all, I get whiny when it's like this lol

I'm getting whiny. April was great, I moved nearly everything, but the soil was starting to get dry and I had to start watering, so the rains were ok, at first. I needed a rest and to heal, but enough is enough! There is rain in the forecast for next week too. I still have some things to move, but how long is it going to take before the soil is workable again?

Now that I think about it, I've gone past whiny, I'm approaching cranky.

Yup, snow! Started Thursday afternoon, sleet actually. By morning, the ground was completely snow covered. Sigh. It was supposed to melt right away, but it lingered...Saturday I was still shoving it off the deck. It was gone by Sunday afternoon. No sunbathing last weekend.

Garden is half in, though. Veggies, that is. I still have to cover the other half with black plastic after forming my raised rows and hills. Wall O'Waters are up with my toms inside them...

You have to be kinda crazy to garden up here--

Believe it or not, my fernleaf bleedin hearts are blooming along with violas, spring bulbs, and the ornamental trees.

The hot weather will come...the hot weather will come...the hot weather will come...

    Chilly in Eagle River,

    Constance.
