Major planting here in Madison too! Tomatoes are in, cukes planted, and lots of annual flowers. The heirloom tomatoes I found at a local nursery were already over a foot tall, but very healthy with nice thick stalks. My strawberries, peas & asparagus are doing well and the local rabbits have misteriously dissapeared! Lets hope we get some sun and warm temps this week.

I was out all day yesterday too. What a beautiful day. Got a good amount done. Later in the evening the wind changed and the temp dropped. Right now it's 58 but sunny, and that helps. Luckily I have Monday off so I should be able to get almost everything in. This coming week looks pretty good temp-wise.

It was weeding day for me...all day...owww!!! Then night temps in the 30's...when will it end? I'm waiting to get my maters in the ground so I can start hardening off my peppers(whine).

Today was grass cutting and trimming (4 hours), planted a gunnera, some taro, queen of the praire, black currant datura, and the normal zinnias and other annuals. Watched the hummingbirds fight at the feeder for about 10 minutes, and then it was time to turn the compost bin. Trimmed some hedges, made steaks and ribs on the barby, and networked an extra old computer into the home network! Can't wait to get to WORK tomorrow so I can get some rest!!
