Hi there!

I've been reading this forum for months and I've probably had more education from y'all than from ten books put together. I'm in Grand Prairie and am just really getting into (obsessed) with gardening. I'm a recovering black thumb. Turns out I just had to learn a few things and experiment, LOL.

In the past few months, I've planted Vitex, crepe myrtle, sunflower seeds (two varieties), zinnia seeds, pumpkin and cantelope seeds (looking good!), dwarf nandinas, Mexican Heather, hostas, tomato plants, clematis, Pampas grass, and tons of little annual flowers. We built a raised vegetable bed and I'm in the process of doing a freestanding paver patio with a path going to it, if it would ever stop raining!

Anyway, thanks for everything I've learned so far, I decided to finally sign up and post!
