I posted this in the wildlife forum but possibly the gardeners here will have a better idea with this one. I'm pretty sure it is variegated solomons seal but I found it growing on our new property in the top soil we had trucked in last fall. There were a couple of these but I could only saved one before the heavy equipment came in to grade the place. It has a tuber type root, and right now is about a foot tall...

LOL - are you saying they will multiply? I have a brand new woodland garden I will be putting in soon and I have this one lone SS and a couple of bleeding hearts and ferns and hostas... So something that will spread itself is a very very good thing! I'm goign back to the place today to see if there's any more peekign up some where. I may even dig up the ones that got squished and see if I can save the root at all....
