Can anyone tell me when to harvest my hardy kiwis in Wisconsin? This is the first year it has produced fruit and I noticed that a few of them have now dropped off the vine. I understand you are supposed to pick while firm, refrigerate, and then take them out a few at a time to ripen on the counter before eating to let the sugars build? I'm not quite sure what to use as a guide as to when to start picking them though.
