Is there anybody out there who has a recent book (or not so recent) and is interested in contributing ideas on this forum for promoting it? Let me start the conversation---

My publisher has made up postcards. The outside is a pic of my very colorful cover. The reverse gives the book info and ordering information; and 50-word description of the book, all on the left side, with the right side open for addressing. I have sent out about a hundred to friends, bookstores, arboreta, university forestry departments etc.

These are also good to use as brochures, for leaving around after lectures, or passing out to interested parties.
