These are books that are engaging and good reads:

Amy Stewart's "Flower Confidential"
Michael Pollan's "The Botony of Desire"
Cassandra Danz "Mrs. Greenthumbs: How I Turned a Boring Yard into a Glorious Garden and How You Can, Too"

My favorite book is "People with Dirty Hands", but I forget the author.

I don't think I'd want to hear any of those if I were dying. I'd want to hear something descriptive of the beauty of gardens and gardening, written by real gardeners.

Perhaps selections from Eleanor Perenyi's "Green Thoughts". Or Thomas Jefferson's "Garden Book". Or any of the accounts of garden-making by Helen Van Pelt Wilson, Sydney Eddison, Elisabeth Sheldon. Such beautiful images, soothing but based on real garden experience.

I am currently seeking all information needed to start a Gardening Business (NO lawn work/mowing) strictly gardens, wether it be design, container gardens, maintenance, need help with a catchy name.
