Well that came across as a bit depressing. Maybe I should write a counterpart to it that will cheer everyone up? I haven't written much about gardening lately but I did write and perform two verses each to three different tunes for a local candidate for political office. It was quite a bit of fun actually. Lots of food there but no flowers. In their stead was plenty of beautiful women that rivaled any flower. In fact, at my age, they're all beautiful. Fool that I am and always will be, I had a bowl of ice cream at this event followed by three glasses of wine. I am on my way out the door this morning for my neighborhood walk. Just had a heavy rain last night so things should be glistening.
