aka confederate rose. Yesterday there were 24 blooms!

    The perennial morning glory has grown in to my back neighbors live oak.

    Lynn, they are of the same family. Mallow and cotton.

    I took one of my confederate rose blooms to Fanick's garden center and was told it's actually a cotton rose and they showed me the confederate rose which is a single bloomer. That's okay - I love it any way!

    Gorgeous! Thank you for the images. I love Blue Dawn that morning glory and this year I received 2 rooted cutting of Conf. Rose. What a fast grower. Just started blooming here and it's about 6 ft tall. Now I see where she's going....c
