Do you Refridgerate your Tomatoes?

I've heard that putting tomatoes in the fridge, like everything else, changes its taste. Therefore, with my harvests so far I've been eating/giving away tomatoes rather than refridgerating them. However, I'm planning on making bruschetta for a Thursday night dinner & have some ripe Black Krim & Kelloggs Breakfast that I want to use in it for color variety. I'm thinking I'll have to refridgerate them if I want them to keep. Obviously, in the bruschetta you really won't be able to tell the difference. But, do you refridgerate your tomatoes or try to avoid it? Once they really start ripening are you forced to refridgerate? I've got approx 30 tomatoes sitting on my counter - with more to pick today or tomorrow.
