My tomatoes are tiny so far as well... My Romas are about 1/2 the size as usual when they're deciding to ripen...

How old is the bedding and compost?

For me... This year... Every year I add 1/2 a bag of soil with cow manure and 1/2 a bag of soil with pete moss to each plant hole...

I use cypris mulch and more or less change it every year. I let whatever falls into the hole from last year stay there, and I rake away whatever is left and replace it with new.

The compost was about 7 - 8 months old when we filled the beds. The soil I added came from a neighbor's bottom land where he was digging a pond.

Maybe the wood in the bedding is tying up nitrogen. Plus organic fertilizers aren't very high in N, P & K and are usually much slower release than common water soluble fertilizers which act almost immediately. Compost and cow manure are 1-1-1 or less.

My only recommendations wouldn't be organic so won't post them, but maybe someone else can give you organic recommendations.
