Crossroads I need your input

I have not been cruzin this website because life got in the way, long story short My friend had a back injury and I have been pulled pretty thin. Any way My garden also has suffered neglect. Things have settled down and now I can devote more time outside. I have 8 tomato plants that produced very well this spring and I have been nursing them through our hot season every day 100+ degrees and night temps never lower than 78 or so. I have blossoms but no fruit of course. This is the question, I have 73 days until our first frost date, Is that enough time to get ripe tomatoes if they do set within 2 weeks or so? They took a long time to ripen this spring from flower to blush and I didn't take notes, will they ripen quicker in the fall? Or should I just pull them, they look pretty ragged with early blight but I think they might have a chance, the cherry tomatoes are still setting and ripening so I will keep those for sure but brandywine red take forever and I am getting ready to start my fall garden, Thanks for letting me bend you ear or...or eye I mean. Thanks from hotter than ---- Texas. Deanna
