Ladybug ID?

I find these weird odd looking bugs in my room they come though my window the seal is bad and i find like 3 a week. they like the size of a large flee and can fly like a ladybug. They have a black and tan checkered board style spots on the back of them i have yet to find any thing. they dont bite or cause any harm their just annoying.

I'm guessing they're carpet beetles, and if that's what they are, they may not be coming in through your window. Their larvae feed on textile fibers, carpet, clothes, etc.
