Mystery Larvae

These larvae are on several wild cherries/prunus serotina and wild azaleas/rhododendron canescens on my property. Is this a webworm/tent caterpillar? A sawfly? If so, what type? When I approach these larvae, they curl up their rear ends - it appears to be a defensive posture -

Not a tent caterpillar, but a sawfly. Can't remember which one right now....maybe it will come to me. ;-)
