Good morning, i'm not sure if spider is a correct topic for this forum; if not, i hope someone will direct me to a more appropriate place.

Yesterday we woke up to beautiful gossamer threads draped across part of our lawn. Almost as if someone had hung them on the tips of the blades of grass. A poster on the lawn forum suggested that this was done by spiders. I went out to examine them more closely this morning and they do appear to have the "feel" of spider web, and i did see some tiny insects caught. Does anyone know what kind of spiders do this work? And where can I find photos of the same kind? I'm posting an image so that maybe someone can confirm that these were spider webs that i'm seeing and not some "lawn disease". thanks all. I love the photos you all post, very impressed.
