You can use mosquito dunks which are a bacteria that attacks and kills mosquitoes and their larvae. They aren't harmful to animals. The link will give you more details about them. You can get them at Wal-Mart or a host of other places. Hope you get them before they get you!

Mosquito dunks are your best bet. They kill all invertebrates, including shrimp, all insect larva, and crayfish, so do not use them if your water might drain into a local creek.

Many local minnows also eat insects. Catch a minnow from your local creek, put him in the standing water. In a few days, no more larva. But you still have to worry about the adults.
