My very favorite all around tomato this year was what I assumed was 'Amish Paste' but am thinking it isn't the right shape.
These tomatoes are absolutely perfect: Very thick walled, about 8 oz and very round in shape. They are a pinkish red.

I though Amish Paste were oval and am wondering if I got the wrong seeds. I saved the seeds and hope it is open pollinated whatever it is!

You're correct Carmen, a round red 8 oz fruit says no, not Amish Paste at all.( smile)

Did you grow them from seed, commercial or traded?, or did you buy the plant?

Carolyn

I bought the seeds from Totally Tomatoes!!!!! I have never been disappointed in them before. Actually, I love this tomato, but won't know for sure if it comes true from seed until I grow it next year.
