How to turn off energy saving feature on KitchenAid Range

We recently purchased a KitchenAid Range. For some reason the Energy Saving Feature was activated. Now I have to restart the range anytime I want to use the oven. We've searched through the owner's manual and haven't found any info regarding this. It's not the end of the world but I actually want my range on all the time. My choice!

This is a most frustrating feature. However, I have been able to de-activate the feature. On the oven control panel press and hold the option button, ignore the first feature(temperature: F/C) until the 'energy saving deactivated' message scrolls by. DONE!!

I'd make an attempt to research your problem ... but you didn't say which model range is involved.

Thank you. Worked like a charm. It's been driving me crazy. The only way I was able to see the time is when I would lock the stove.

AMAZING-just the thing I needed to fix my oven problem ( never had this happen until today-I have had my oven for years!!! ) Yeah Jerry My old instruction guide (yes, I saved it) did not address this issue. Read the thing three times before I Googled it.!!!
