I see a wide range in pricing on cooktop ventilation.

I am looking at a 30" gas cooktop with about 50K BTUs if all four burners were being used.

I would prefer a Stainless Steel 36" under cabinet model with a low profile that has good lighting and is very quiet. I certainly would consider a "third" party brand and understand that these companies make a lot of models that are simply rebranded for the large manufacturers who offer a complete product line of appliances.

can the experts on this forum direct me to several brands that they have direct experience with?
