Induction and pets

The questions about induction and noise in the other thread made me curious about it bothering pets. I decided a new thread would be appropriate.

How many people have pets (dogs, cats, whatever) and does your induction make noises that bother them?

I wondered if it would bother my parrots but it doesn't at all. They think my standing at the stove is a good thing. ;-)

No issues and I have 2 labs. To hear any sound out of my Bosch induction I have to put my head down next to the cooktop. Preferably not too close though. :-) Both dogs stay in the kitchen with me while I am cooking, as labs tend to do. Now one of them does run out of the room when I turn on my KitchenAid double oven, but that has more to do with the frequency of the fire alarm going off. (I need to get a good vent installed.)
My plasma television makes a louder hum when it is on than the induction cooktop does.

I have an electrolux Icon induction - and three house cats. Does not seem to bother them as far as I can tell - I still have them begging for treats if I'm cooking up something they think smells good.

We have one dog. She likes to sleep on the rug directly beneath the cooktop, especially while I'm cooking (naturally), so I guess it doesn't bother her.

Just try to get our golden out of the kitchen, ha! She takes no notice of the induction cooktop when it is on, except to hope something drops to the floor.
