I use Better Homes and Gardens Home Designer Deluxe 7.0. I love it. There's almost nothing I can't do with it. You can even put in fixtures and furniture never mind just walls, doors and windows. Of course you can put paint colors, tile, wood, stone, etc. too. Best of all you can see and "look around in" your design in 3-D. That really helps me find potential problems and get a feel for the space I've designed. I actually use it for all the rooms in our house. It wasn't much fun measuring every wall in the house inside and out. It's much easier if you limit it to individual spaces like just the kitchen or just the bathroom. Then you don't have to worry about making sure the rooms fit together right. I don't remember what it cost, but it has proven more worth it than I ever imagined. I thought it would be clumsy and hard to use like products I had tried to use about 7 years ago. It has so many features. It gets easier after you are familiar with it.

Many thanks, perqqderqq! I bought the BH&G 7.0 at Best Buy, and it is everything you said it was. I've since spent way-too-many hours playing with a dozen different bathroom scenarios. Its 3D feature truly is a great benefit for people like me who have trouble visualizing how a plan will look and feel.
