Another blank bathroom plan....

I can't believe dh has agreed to my idea of converting the rear of our garage (setup as 2 car but one behind another) into a master bath. We currently have a standard 5' x 8' with a corner shower stall and double vanity. The door from master bedroom into this space is almost center of the 8' wall. The door from this space into the new space would be negotiable.

The set dimensions of the new dimensions is 13'6 across and we could use any width but dh would like me to stay at 10' however there is room for negotiations as long as his 73 camaro would fit into the remainder. The only other set in stone feature is the 36" exterior door from the new space. If you entered into the new space from the old space is is on your left and flush to the wall. This would be idea as our hot tub is outside that door on the right. Hope that makes sense!

There is no windows in the space but it may be an option. My thoughts were to use the existing bathroom as a hallway with a reach in closet (5 ft) on the left of the door and a small computer area on the right. The reach in would be strictly for dh's clothes and I would no longer have to share the walk in closet.

I had an oversized soaking tub in my former bathroom but being that the hot tub is right outside it would seem a little silly to put one in the space. A double shower would be nice though. I would also like to incorporate a stacking washer and dryer in the space.

A double vanity is not required (currently water turned off to my side because it is always cluttered with my make up case). I would like a vanity but that might be more logical than a computer area in the current mb.

Being that the garage is a stepdown from the rest of the house and a floor will be built aprox 18" above the existing floor plumbing will not be an issue and water is actually run into that area now for the washer and dryer.

I fell (attempting to teach my son to play hopscotch in 2005) so dh hooked up the w/d in the garage when we moved in 2 years ago.

I have every confidence that you all could come up with me a plan that makes the outside entrance look like it was in the plan and accomodate an area for hanging robes and such from the hot tub as well as additional towel storage.

Thanks in advance! All advice appreciated!
