Please help ID vintage pottery planter

I bought a cute little vase/planter at my local Salvation Army store yesterday. These days I snap up anything old that's marked USA, but this has some additional markings:

NSCo.

CLEVE. O.

U.S.A.

101

OK, so it's obviously from Cleveland, Ohio, but I've never heard of NSCo. Can somebody out there enlighten me?
