1930's....good comfortable chair....good buy for $30 if it's sturdy.

Thanks! My ex-husband had a chair just like it that was his great grandmothers. I always loved the chair and found this one and had to get it. It isn't in as good of shape as his, and the covering is yuck! I hope to get it recovered and use in my foyer along side my grandmothers old Singer treadle sewing maching..

I bought one almost identical to that at Goodwill for $5.00. Frame is in excellent shape, but it appears to have the original upholstery which is in bad shape. My goal has been to try my hand at putting new upholstery on it. Well, it's been sitting in my sewing room for at least 3 yrs now. I'll get to it...one of these days!
