I put mine in a trash bag and hang them also Lynne. But I hadn't thought about using bobbypins. I just sort of roll the streamers around the bow and place them in the bag that way. They usually come out pretty good--but I don't have nearly as many as you do. Have you ever tried using your curling iron to smooth them? That works pretty well too. Luvs

I don't do this at home...but..... I made bows for the entry stairs where I work...LOTS of bows!!! We slide them by one loop onto a long conduit pole, and then the maintenance guy hangs it from the rafters in the attic and covers it with a plastic drop cloth for the year. They are about 10 years old and look brand new. HTH

Luvs - never thought of using a curling iron to straighten out the streamers

Jaybird - I like that idea - that would be quicker also - I have the room to do that and also have the PVC pipe

Thanks for your tips .....

Lynne

I take the easy route~I don't use 'em. I started buying the netting stuff on a spool~I think I paid $4.99 for 25 yds. at HL. You normally find it in the 'wedding isle' at most craft stores, in white and cream~it's made in little circles for making favors also. You can get any color you want, but I always use pink~this year I added lime green. I like the fact that I can reuse it several times, and not just for Christmas~it sure makes gift wrapping easy, also. I keep several colors on hand. ;o)
