Yes, We did. We purchased them from online and did the install ourselves. What aspects are you curious about?

What was the compelling reason to choose glass shower walls in your case?

Where did you get the walls from?

Did you have to provide the exact locations of the various holes? ie - shower controls, shower spout, screw holes for a shower door.

How flat did the walls have to be? Was there any special prep work?

What backer material did you use - standard sheet rock or something else?

Did you use large amounts of silicone to hold up the walls?

Is there a specific type of silicone caulk that should be used?

Was silicone caulk used all around, including for the joints between the walls and pan?

What sort of shower pan was used? Or did you have a tile shower floor?

Thanks,

David

Sorry- I looked at the second photo in your link, which shows a glass-walled shower stall. I thought that was what you were asking about. I didn't realize you meant glass on ALL the walls. Interesting....

After much research, I think I'll be using my fallback - large format porcelain tile that looks glass like.
Reasons
1. Every single hole has to be made in the glass during the manufacturing process - spout, control(s), screw holes for shower door frame/ clips
2. The time taken to make the walls is way too long ~ 2 weeks after measurements are taken.
3. The walls have to be flat, difficult to achieve with just drywall/ cbu.
4. A significant amount of curing time for the silicone (~ 3 days) would be needed.
5. Cost - ~ $80 per sq ft.

Somebody here did a shower with those large acrylic sheets. What was that company name? 3-something? The company helped by supplying installation instructions.

Here it is - 3 form
