Old Kitchenaid appliance specs

We're in the planning stages of a kitchen remodel, and I'm trying to get a feel for what we currently have so that we have a comparison point for new appliances. The two in question are original, 18-year old KitchenAid appliances.

We have a KA gas cooktop on our island that we are likely to keep. Behind it is a KA downdraft vent (Model KIVD860T0B) with an external blower (KPED890T). My question on this is if we replace the downdraft unit, can we use the external blower with a modern pop-up downdraft unit from say Dacor or Faber? Can anyone tell me what the cfm rating of the KA unit is? I haven't been able to find that. BTW, we're also considering an island hood instead of the downdraft - I understand it's better - I'm just trying to cover all my bases.

I'm also trying to find the power specs for a KA 27in single oven KEBS176W. I found the plate inside the oven door, but it's very hard to read. It looks like it has two ratings - 2.4 KW and 3.0 KW. Is that for the oven and the broiler respectively? For comparison, we're considering the Electrolux 27 in double oven, which has a main oven rating of 1.45 KW, broiler - 3.4 KW, and convection of 2.4 KW. I understand that we'd be getting convection, but will we be unhappy with the (apparently) lower power for standard baking?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Howard
