Back with pictures

I wasn't the most frequent of posters but learned so much from this site while building our house. We've been in for about 3 weeks now and love it! Building our home was a blast. I honestly loved building it. And would do it again, but don't plan on it unless there's a natural disaster. So far there's just 2 plugs & 1 light switch I would change. Everything else is pretty darn good.

No I didn't make our beds or clean off the counters. I figured I finally got some sort of pictures after 3 weeks so this was gonna have to be as good as it gets! LOL

I love the colors you chose for your house. The dark floors are stunning! Also, I am in awe of your living room ceiling pendant. Please share where you found such a gorgeous light fixture! Good Luck in your beautiful home!

The light came from overstock.com. I haven't a clue the brand name or anything, I just ran across it one day while browsing thier lights. I don't think I have the box any more either! I think they called it a metal & fabric pendant b/c the light colored stuff is kinda like a lampshade upside down inside the metal work.

Wow... GORGEOUS!!! I love the hardwood floors, the paint finish in your breakfast nook and your incredible painting in the kids' rooms/bathrooms. How talented are you?!?!?!!?! I love the idea of a "front" living room that is always clean too and that gorgeous pendant. You are funny. The captions are great. Incredible work. Enjoy!!!

Oh my....I'm drooling at your gorgeous views! What a peaceful and Gorgeous setting! The house came out fantastic. Love it! Did you do that football mural all by yourself....WOW! Great job!

Enjoyed the photos - really enjoyed the captions! I bookmarked your fireplace as an "inspiration". We want to do the flat screen TV over the fireplace and realize the design has to have balance. My husband wants a gi-normous TV so I have to pay careful attention to the fireplace "weight" to balance the TV.

Thanks for all the compliments, we truely are really happy w/ the outcome.

I didn't do the whole football mural by myself. Some more talented ladies than I painted the actual players and did most of the shading. I did the big blobs of color like the grass, helped w/ the crowd, but did do and need to finish the scoreboard & numbers on the jerseys.

The floors are actually stained concrete throughout. With no grass around they are getting quite dirty right now but hopefully someday that won't be as big an issue. Although I guess it will just change from mud to dead grass everywhere. LOL

I'm sure my dh would have loved a bigger t.v. but the $ stops somewhere and we figure someday we'll move that t.v. to the hearth room and by that time a little bigger one will be much cheaper if we just wait a while.

Excellent job on your home. I love the dining room chady! Beautiful. The bedroom murals are nice, you have a lot of talent and are very brave!
