My finds...

I am excited to share my new finds with people who actually seem interested. My friends aren't into this stuff! Went to a thrift store tonight and to my suprise it was a 50% midnight madness sale. I got four placemats for $1.50 (your tables have inspired me), a ceramic bunny $1.50(I beleive it was designed to hang over the side of a shelf or ledge), and a cool Saint Patrick's Day jug for you guessed it...$1.50. It has a little rhyme on it and traditional designs. I am going to check out the maker it was made in 1968 so it may be considered "vintage". Too bad my four-year-old had to go to the bathroom as I am sure I would have found more!

Neat finds. The bunny is adorable. And such a cute ST Pat's jug.
I know what you mean about RL friends not being interested (and most of the time family members aren't either). So its sure great to have an appreciative audience here to share with.

    HG,

That St. Patrick's jar is a very timely find. Can't beat the price, that's for sure. The place mates are a pretty shade of blue. Don't you just love a bargain!

Wow, some great finds. That little bunny makes me think of Kathleen's naughty bunny. Could be what Kathleen's looks like now that the drink is empty.LOL

The little jug is pretty cool and your placemats are a nice blue color. Do you have dishes you plan to use with them? Let us know what you find out when you research your little jug.

We love seeing the neat finds so you can count on us to be here for you.

Ohhh I LOVE seeing 'Treasures' that others have found,
and also hearing the great prices.
I too can relate to coming here to share. You're right if friends and family don't enjoy the same thing..they don't feel the same excitement.
The little Irish Jug is really cute and I love the cute 'Shelf Bunny'. He can be used always.
I have placemats similar in color...however, did NOT pay anything near what you did. The color is so soft and will be perfect for Spring/Summer tables..
They really have so many possibilities.
I will enjoy seeing what you use with them.

I'm glad you shared evertyhing with us...We ALL love that.

What great deals, I can't imagine shopping at midnight. I'm jealous of the jar, I don't have one thing for St. Patrick's Day decorating. And of course the bunny is right up my alley. Good score on the placemats, pretty ones are really hard to find at a reasonable price.

They ARE great finds, HG! How do you think you'll end up using your new St. Patrick's Day jug? It could make a darling flower arrangement, propping the lid against the base. Or, sitting next to a small pot of four-leaf clover. Be sure to take pics of your table for us, will you? The bunny is darling and you got such a good deal on those placemats!

Kathleen should see the St. Patty's jug..she would be "green" with envy :^) (and glad that you found it!!)

The TS my friend & I went to a TS last wk ...they were having a Hawaiian luau party...handed out lai when you came in & had colorful shirts on & a musician playing...so cute! (it's still WINTER here!) They were having a good time & great bargains, too!

You midnight sale looks like bargain time for you! Cute bunny & things...what fun! Hope to see a pic with those placemats...Think Spring!!! TFS! Jeanne S.

LOL Looks like it was a successful day for you~gotta love that! ;o) Especially love the little bunny!

Dontcha just HATE it when friends can't share the enthusiasm for your bargains? I have a friend of 40+ years who shares my enthusiasm, but she's in IL and i'm in Tx! We do talk on the phone and share. ;o)

All great finds, HG, and the prices were unreal! I need to get to a thrift shop when there's a sale! You will have so much fun with your new finds. The placemats will be great for spring but really good anytime. TFS - you know we always love to see everyone's treasures! :-)

Really the right time to find those neat items. I love both of them. Like I said in Kathleen's thread, our TS had NOTHING!! A lot of xmas left over but nothing for St. Pats or Easter.

Guess I need to find another TS to check out, plus the Dollar Tree & Target had very little this year.

I think the stores have been getting stuck with too many items after the holidays due to the economy & they have cut way back on holiday decor.

My next try will be Hobby Lobby, surely they will have more than I saw today!!! Hopefully!!!

I thought your little bunny just got "tired" and decided to catch a few winks on your pretty blue placemats! LOL

How lucky for you to find that great little jar just in time for St. Pat's decorating.

Other than a few things with the cute Irish sayings on them at Michael's, I'm not seeing much of interest for St. Pat's decorating either. I just pulled out the few things I have from the storage shed today--have to figure out a table or vignette using them--hopefully different than the one I did last year.
