My first stacked plates

Well, I did it ! This is what happens when you can't sleep at night and you're bored silly..lol ! Everything you see on the plates came from either Walmart or the Dollar Tree..including the pink placemats. They only had 4,so of course I had to buy them all. I know Easter is still far away.. but I had the "stuff" so ... I don't have a set of stacked plates, so I just used a cake plate and dinner plate, saucer and sundae cups. I'm open to constructive critisism, so ya'll tell me what you think !

Susan, Hope it is okay but I put the link in here so it is easier for everyone to see your terrific pics. Your stacked plates are adorable! The colours and items are so Easter-y! Love the little chicks & bunnies! I don't have an official set of stacking plates either so liked seeing how you used what you had - looks like the real thing! It really makes me want to "think spring" though we still have so much snow here! Thanks for posting!

Susan,
Beautiful stacked plates. Great job! You can just send me the pink placemats since I couldn't find any at my DT!!
Nobody would ever know they weren't a stacked plate set you bought if you hadn't told us. I love all of the bright, springy colors. Makes me want spring even more.

DD , thank you so much for posting the link ! I haven't figured out how to do that yet :>)
I've found the stacking plates online, but by the time you add shipping, it makes the price ridiculous so it was just as simple to use what I already had. Glad you liked them.. and I'll trade the heat here for your snow anyday !

Betty, thank you ! When I'm sick of pink, I'll pay these placemats forward to you..lol ! FYI .. I just bought a set of 4 Carole Little's placemats at Marshall's today for $9.99 a set. They're pale pink with pink flowers on them. Also got a set in pale green with pink flowers. I'll post pics of them later.

Susan, what a very neat idea. Now, I'll have to try my hand at stacked plates. So very creative!

Oh my! Just look at all that Easter goodness. I really love pastel colors. Love the fuzzy chicks and bunny, and I'd love a piece of that chocolate about now! LOL That placemat is really pretty, didn't see any like it at my Dollar Tree, haven't been to Walmart lately. Now you can enjoy your creation for awhile. I do the same as you, just my pedestal cake plate and a couple of other plates supported by candleholders with a sundae cup on top. Easier to store by being able to take it all apart too. ;o) Luvs
